POST SHOOT INTERVIEW WITH MODEL ANASTASIA MURRAY
Damaged / Goods: What led you to pursue a career in modeling?
Anastasia Murray: My love for fashion and passion for traveling. I started modeling at age 15 and since then I have already visited and worked in 10 countries all around the globe.
Damaged: Ultimate fashion inspiration?
Anastasia: It's hard to name one person because I think inspiration comes from the environment. I love street fashion, and how different and unique it can be. Culture shapes fashion and the best way to absorb it is to engulf the passions of the street.
Damaged: Favorite fashion brands?
Anastasia: Yohji Yamamoto, Rosie Assoulin and Issey Miyake are my favorite designers and absolute geniuses.
Damaged: Who are your listening to at the moment?
Anastasia: I like to switch artists depending on my mood so right now my go to's are Mac DeMarco, Future Islands, Nicolas Jaar, Massive Attack and Radiohead - Hail to the Thief album.
Whats your damage?
Anastasia: Being a 5'11 kid from Ukraine I never thought about a modeling career as a possibility, until I got discovered like most of the girls do on the street by a modeling agent. I was 15 and uncertain about a career in the fashion industry. My parents were pretty much against it until I got an offer from a London agency to travel there with my mom, which made it safer at such a young age.
